Our Fraternity
In 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond. College men and women everywhere are discovering that Alpha Kappa Psi is more than just another organization or club; it is a unique, prestigious association of students, professors, graduates, and professionals with common interests and goals.
They join Alpha Kappa Psi to take advantage of valuable educational, friendship, and networking opportunities. The Pi Omega Chapter was founded in 2000 at Purdue University to continue this legacy.
Our Mission
"AKPsi is a gender-inclusive organization open to all majors. We are proud to be within the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University, with over 100 brothers/alumni and growing.

Our organization is a diverse one, with our brothers collectively speaking over 20 languages. We focus on educating our talented brothers professionally to become the best professionals possible. Through resume building, networking presentations, and interview preparation events, we work to help develop our members to be the best they can be."
Fraternity Core Values
Brotherhood
Through brotherhood events, we create a fun and encouraging environment for brothers to get to know each other and bond. Whether it is a movie night, painting pumpkins, or even doing a fountain run, AKPsi helps form lifelong friendships.
Integrity
AKPsi holds its brothers to a high standard. Through mentorship and collaboration, our chapter helps shape our brothers into globally aware, open-minded, and honest members of society.
Service
As Purdue and West Lafayette community members, the Pi Omega chapter gives back through events like food drives and fundraising. Our brothers are expected to actively contribute towards bettering our community by participating in our semesterly service projects.
Unity
Our chapter is home to a diverse set of brothers who bring unique perspectives to AKPsi. From potluck dinners to attending Garba, APKsi aims to develop unity by embracing our differences and hosting and attending events that allow brothers to share their traditions, foods, and cultures.
Knowledge
As a professional fraternity, AKPsi is dedicated to helping brothers prepare for internships and jobs by hosting resume reviews, mock interviews, and talks given by industry professionals. Our brothers are committed to improving themselves and helping each other advance professionally and academically.
